We asked Nik:
What motivates you?
What motivates me is my family and the desire to do something of value, I don’t want to retire and look back and say “I never made a significant difference to anyone or anything”
Who do you admire in the world of business and why?
I admire Alan Sugar because despite very humble beginnings he dragged himself up against the odds, he never stopped believing in himself or his vision, or more importantly what is important in life. I would recommend his autobiography whole-heartedly!
What is your business Philosophy?
The philosophy of our charity is to produce films that inform and educate people and therefore ultimately change lives.
What would be your advice to anyone wondering if their business could benefit from joining Business against Poverty?
Having travelled to Romania I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone become a part of “Business Against Poverty”. Being able to see first hand the difference this charity makes to the lives of the people it supports made us want to get involved more. It increases morale and gives people a greater sense of purpose to know that by supporting BaP they really are helping. I would recommend that not only you support BaP but you actually make the effort to visit one of their projects, it will change your life forever.
