What is the Business skills Academy: It’s a business skills academy with a difference. That difference being the emphasis on ETHICAL business behaviours. We want our business colleagues in PAP and BAP to be clear about what they stand for, what values they base their business activities on, and how they want to go about that. We want to help our business colleagues to grow an excellent reputation in all their business dealings, add value to society, be committed to making profit for collective value and to carry out business negotiations and interactions in an ethical manner. We want to see our colleagues build competitive advantage through ethical business relationships. This is purposeful development for business people, really putting the heart into business. We want to provide a platform for our members to network and to do B2B together.
What kind of topics will we cover? An example;
Ethical and Values Based Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Social Media Strategy – Managing your reputation
Insights Discovery Profiling for enhanced communication skills
Getting the best out of your team
Managing performance for the best outcomes
Good governance and HR practices
Who runs the Academy? The academy consists of expert leading providers chosen from the membership working within the boundaries set by the Charity. Its Director is Dr Sally Vanson (read about Dr Sally here).
How will we do this? We will run a number of short business breakfast meetings which introduces the topics and stimulates debate. Then full day seminars will take you deeper into the topics and challenging the status quo – creating refreshed and revitalised business leaders in our community.
What will Be The costs? All Seminars are £125.00 for BaP members and £150 Non-Members ( inc venue, lunch and all materials)
