Preparations are continuing for the Bath Business Expo, which returns to the city on Wednesday 4th March.
Over 70 businesses, including ourselves, have already signed up as exhibitors for the Bath Expo, which is set to be the largest general business exhibition and networking opportunity in Bath and North East Somerset in 2015.
Sponsored by Thrings, Santander, Monahans and Datasharp, the Expo will include a programme of free educational and inspirational business seminars. Business support organisations such as the FSB and Business West will also host a series of networking events.
Elsewhere visitors will have the opportunity to hear from a number of high-quality speakers. Kate Smith from The Makery will discuss how she set up a successful business, as well as talk about her experience of appearing on Dragons’ Den. Mark Humphries of Bath-based IT firm IPL will also speak about making best use of Key Performance Indicators in business.
James Tribe, director of the Bath Business Expo, comments: “It is an extremely busy and exciting time preparing for the Expo. We are working hard to develop a first-class event which we hope will help regional business people make important connections, collaborate and secure new business.
BANES enjoys an enviable reputation in many industry sectors, among them creative and digital, ICT, microelectronics, engineering, manufacturing, tourism and financial services. The commercial outlook for Bath is extremely positive, with major development projects such as the Bath City Riverside Enterprise Area making the city an increasingly attractive place to do business.
Working closely with our four main sponsors, and the teams at the Assembly Rooms and BANES Council, our aim is to attract many local and regional business people to the event and showcase the excellent range of organisations which operate in the region.
The Bath Business Expo runs from 10am – 3pm on the 4th March and is free to attend for pre-registered visitors. To register for free tickets, book free tickets to the seminars or organised networking, to enquire about booking a Stand, or for further information, please visit www.bathexpo.co.uk.
Business against Poverty will also be running a free networking session, why not book yourself on. ow.ly/ItZWX
