The BaP Ball is our flagship event and is always a sellout, with over over 120 BaP members, charity supporters and their guests joining us for an evening of fun, networking and friendship. From the buzz in the room, we reckon this year’s event was our most successful to date!
The evening kicked off with a sparkling reception followed by three-course dinner and dancing to a live band to round off the evening. The packed running order of the evening included business awards, a raffle and the launch of a new promotional video, featuring our members.
We were delighted to present the BaP Business of the Year Award to Gooseberry Bush Nurseries, headed up by managing director, Claire Stringer. Two additional accolades for outstanding contributions to the charity were made to healthcare systems consultancy, Mayden, and travel company, Hollywood Marketing (Monster Travel).
Thanks go to our event sponsors: Bailbrook House Hotel, Mail Boxes Etc, ANG Photography and Zeke Creative, as well as all the companies who donated prizes for the raffle and auctions. We so greatly appreciate your support.
BaP’s next event – the Insights® Deeper Discovery workshop on 27 January – aims to help businesses kick-start 2015! Led by Ali Stewart of Ali Stewart & Co, Nina Lovatt of HT Training and Coaching, and Rachel James Patch of Fairway Learning, it is aimed at leaders and business owners looking for deeper levels of personal fulfilment and organisational success, and individuals motivated to improve self-awareness and develop a more authentic approach to personal or professional roles.
The workshop forms part of the BaP Business Skills Academy programme. Further details and booking can be found at businessagainstpoverty.com.
