Our annual BaP Ball takes place on 22 November at Bailbrook House Hotel and is a celebration of our achievements over the past year. In addition to the breadth, depth and scope of our projects, this year has seen two notable “firsts”: the launch of the BaP Business Skills Academy and the new UK project, Bridging the Gap.
An exciting new venture by one of our longstanding BaP members will also be celebrated at the ball – the launch of a stunning jewellery collection by Nicholas Wylde, leading independent designer jeweller and goldsmith.
On 1 November Nic launches the Expressions Collection (with a thoughtful expression to help alleviate poverty), from which 10% of all purchases will be donated to the charity. One signature piece of jewellery from the collection will be auctioned at the BaP ball, with advance bids available until 5pm on Friday 21 November.
Nic commented: “It’s always been important to me to operate ethically and find innovative ways through what I do to support causes close to my heart. I’ve been a member of BaP for several years and donated pieces for auctions in the past. This year, I wanted to find a new way to support the charity, hence the development of the Expressions Collection. The auction piece is a stunning 18ct white gold diamond necklace worth around £1000 – and the lucky winning bidder will have done so much more than simply bought a beautiful piece of jewellery.”
