Over 120 business and individual supporters donned their gladrags and joined us to party at the legendary Business against Poverty Ball last Saturday at Bailbrook House Hotel in Bath.  Featuring live and silent auctions, a raffle, sparkling reception, dinner and live music by Whytehouse, the evening raised a staggering £14,200 for our charity and projects!
Our Christmas single, “Do you feel alright?” received regular play (download here), and the grand finale was the presentation of the BaP Business of the Year Award 2013, won by Wiltshire-based Rob Beale Ltd.

This year’s event attracted unprecedented business support and our thanks go to our sponsors: Ali Stewart & Co, People Business Psychology, Bailbrook House Hotel, Zeke Creative and Opal Print.

Jonathan Squire, general manager of headline sponsor, Bailbrook House Hotel commented: “We were delighted to sponsor and host this year’s Business against Poverty Ball. Since our major refurbishment in the summer, we are keen to engage with businesses, showcase our stunning facilities for corporate and guest events, and encourage visitors to consider Bailbrook House Hotel for their next major event. The fact that we could do this whilst supporting and giving something back to a local charity was a bonus, and we look forward to working with the Business against Poverty team again in 2014.”

Photos are available to purchase on ANG Photography’s website. We are already planning next year’s ball so if you are interested in securing an early sponsorship package, contact Val Huxley to discuss.
