Mad Hatters Tea Party
The Prince’s Responsible Business Network, Business in the Community hosted their annual Responsible Business Week April 18-22.
To mark the occasion our charity People against Poverty and its Business Enterprise, Business against Poverty worked in partnership with Bailbrook and organised a Mad Hatters Tea Party held at Bailbrook House Hotel on April 20.
Keith Turnbull, general manager of Bailbrook House (located on the outskirts of Bath) kindly sponsored the afternoon tea and room hire enabling the charity to raise over £250.
Over 30 business people came together to network, eat cake and find out more about the work of People against Poverty. Charity founder Val Huxley said: “The Mad Hatters Tea Party was a huge success. Bailbrook House are great supporters of People against Poverty and we can’t thank them enough for making the event happen. By getting involved Keith and his team showed their dedication to being a responsible business. We can’t wait to return for our annual ball on 5th November.”
