We are delighted to invite you to our first Business against Poverty Webinar with a local and international flavour.
During these extraordinary times most of us are re-addressing our businesses and purpose within our lives. Purpose driven businesses have a significant role in society now more than ever. It doesn’t matter the size business – all have the ability to make a positive difference for clients, staff, suppliers and community – both locally, nationally and internationally.
For this event we have brought together a panel of business leaders who put “purpose” at the heart of everything they do. Our panel will comprise three business people who head their own leading organisations; Graham Massey Of the House, Bath who will be joining us from Budapest; Jules English and Jim Parry Of Triangle Design from Bristol, all are established Business against Poverty members; Prasant Yelchuri who will be connecting with us from India. Prasant has his own not for profit business hiking the mountains of the Andra Pradesh region, and with his family founded and run Haven Home, a home for over 200 young children where they live and are schooled with support for their everyday needs including medical care. This is the partnership that we have under People against Poverty.
The session will be facilitated from own Co-chair of Trustees, Paul Van Haver who is an International Director of a global organisation in the software and communications field so we can’t be sure which country this global trotter will be joining us from on the day.
Date: Wednesday 9 September 2020, 10.30am – 11.30am / Zoom meeting
Coming along is the absolute best way to meet other Business against Poverty members and guests. It’s an interactive event where you can ask those most important questions you may have burning in the background and learn from others why having a purpose is important to business and its growth. You can also address Prasant, and find out from him personally the difference that your business is making to his work on the front line.
Although this event is free to attend, we would like to give you the opportunity to make a small donation which will enable us to continue our support of Haven Home.
Bookings are closed for this event.
