Many businesses, their workforces and their families have been negatively impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, not least in the areas of emotional well-being and financial security. The mental health of our nation is in crisis – and the same is true across all economies, with the poor arguably being hit the hardest.
In this webinar we will explore the issues of mental health and poverty in developed societies like the UK and also within those societies that contain some of the poorest people of the world.
Our People against Poverty project visitor for this timely session will be Atilla Toth from our Romanian project in the Reghin area. Atilla works with large communities of gypsy families of approximately 3,000 people. Bill Huxley, co-founder of People against Poverty and founder of Business against Poverty, will be leading the webinar exploring the key issues that affect labour supply (employment) and will discuss what can be done to negate the effects of the current crisis in mental health on our workforce. Paul Van Haver, co-chair of Trustees for People against Poverty, will be facilitating the event.
There will be the opportunity at the end of the webinar for networking in breakout rooms in slots of 3 x 10 min each. Depending on numbers booked, we aim to have at least 3 people per breakout room.
This is a free networking and information webinar and we look forward to welcoming you. Book now
