Our member of the month for July goes to Peter Quintana, Director of High Growth Knowledge Company, based in the South West. Specialising in Business Consultancy – Peter comes highly recommended, and has been described by a fellow colleague as, “a true expert at outside the box thinking, with insider advice.” As well as Peter’s professional accomplishments, he’s also a highly supportive member of Business against Poverty – and was the first member to donate a fabulous prize to our sold-out Gala Ball Auction (which is always our biggest and best fundraiser), taking place on the 22nd, November. Peter is a family man who enjoys cookery and music, and is often on the winning team at our Quiz and Curry nights – a man of many talents – thank you Peter for your ongoing support.
We asked Peter:
What motivates you? The opportunity to work with very bright, enthusiastic and energetic people to help them grow their businesses rapidly and sustainably.
What is your Business philosophy? Honesty, integrity, commitment to doing what I say I will do, and hard work on behalf of my colleagues and our clients.
Who do you admire in the world of business and why? My colleagues at High Growth Knowledge Company, because they set a very high performance bar. It is raising my game every day. And our clients, as they are taking difficult decisions every day to get their businesses to where they want them to be.
What would be your advice to anyone wondering if their business could benefit from joining Business against Poverty? Join today! Business against Poverty is an excellent cause built on the premise that even charitable donations should deliver a return. As well as doing some really great work, Bill and Val run business networking and social events as fund raisers for members and other guests that enable them to connect and build relationships that might develop into business. They are valuable, and great fun.
